I tend to do the same, probably because if I inititate a chat, it's almost implied for her to respond, and I don't wanna expect that of her, especially when she's often busy or occupied. But I love getting one from her, though sometimes I don't see it for an hour or two. I'll try to respond even if I'm busy as hell. I think it's probably a more common guy thing too.
