Well, unsurprisingly, the simple answer is in the same way as any other individual! The gospel is powerful enough to work in the hearts of any person, and those who identify as LGBT are not a special subset of people who require a special approach to sharing the gospel. Due to cultural pressure, however, you may find these three pointers helpful when sharing faith with gay friends. We should remember, however, that in response to this message we need to be aware that we have a much better story to tell. No other worldview affords LGBT people the same level of dignity and respect as the Christian worldview. We raise the bar. This is simply not something that other worldviews affirm.
We disciple young adults who are actively seeking Christian support as they pursue Christ and His design for sexuality. We believe God has given men a powerful voice to speak truth and life into the world and bring about meaningful change. It is our privilege to walk with women who are seeking to find freedom, change, and healing in Jesus Christ. The choices of close friends or family members can be devastating for their loved ones.
Exodus International president Alan Chambers says he is 'deeply sorry' for hurt caused to homosexual people. Mr Chambers was appointed president of Exodus in In his memoir, Leaving Homosexuality , he detailed his own history as an openly gay young man and his decision to marry a woman. Last year, Mr Chambers announced that ex-gay therapy was ineffective, and confessed he had never met anyone who had successfully altered their own sexual orientation.
