Winter is normally a slow time for race-car drivers, but some of the nation's top oval-track racers will be in Tulsa this weekend competing indoors for one of the top midget car purses of the year. The two-day race, called the National Indoor Midget Championship, will be held Saturday night and Sunday afternoon in the 5,seat International Petroleum Exposition building at the Tulsa fairgrounds. Nationals held during the summer, and that's the most prestigious midget race in the country. The Tulsa races has entries from some of the top names in oval-track racing, including veteran Indianapolis drivers Johnny Parsons Jr.
