What do you think of Mike and Eleven's kissing this season? Personally I felt it was sforced and disturbing and it made me kind of uncomfortable. Also the way they made them hold each other in some scenes looked too "adult" and fake. I don't understand how they can be comfortable with this kind of things and then when it comes to Will being explicitly gay both the writers and the audience suddenly it's too much to say it clearly?

Us fans have our particular things we love when it comes to favorite TV couples — height differences, enemies then girlfriends, grumpy paired with cheerful, etc. Hot passionate say yes to sex dykes or touchy feely soft focus sisters of the woodland? Which brings me back to queer kiss scenes: Although more female directors are being given opportunities to thrive, male-directed lesbian scenes are commonplace—and unfortunately, are oftentimes voyeuristic and exploitative. Luckily for us queer girls, not all girl-on-girl movie kisses are bad.
